Bobbi is the foundation for 80% of our program. Her pedigree is nothing to shout about. But she was athletic and lightning fast, and she passed that speed on to her foals. Bobbi produced four foals for Kathy, Mr Sun Dollar, Do it for Beau, Raren To Turn, and Winning Gold Chex. Each of these horses has clocked a 17.1 or better on a standard barrel pattern in competition. To date her get have won approximately $120,000 in the arena. When it comes to raising barrel horses, Bobbi was a breeders' dream mare. We were fortunate to have her, and those of you who end up with one of our horses with her genes will be grateful that we did.

Moonie is a beautiful 2000 brown mare out of Jodalito Cielo by Beaus Scoop of Sun. If you were at a sale and you looked at her pedigree, you would totally blow this mare off ... until you saw her compete. Most people who have watched her over her career would kill for one of her foals. She is an incredible athlete with explosive speed, agility, and a brilliant mind. To date she has won over $49,000.00 in barrel racing at all levels. Moonie appears to be following in the footsteps of her dam in the breeding arena. Her foals are beautiful, correct, athletic, smart ... and FAST. We are blessed to have her and look forward to getting many more great foals from her. Watch one of her runs.

Josie is a 2003 buckskin mare who is well known in pro-rodeo circles as one of the top horses in the game. She is out of Jodalito Cielo and by Reserve World Champion Senior Reining stallion, Extra Dry Chex. Josie carries the speed from her dam and extreme athleticism from her sire. One thing that sets Josie apart from other barrel horses is her drive to compete. The horse loves her job, and the bigger and louder the crowd, the better she is. Josie has an awesome ET 2 year old filly by Rare Bar: KG Katy Bar The Door. We will continue to breed her via embryo transfer as she competes. Another great mare ... another blessing. Watch Josie run a 16.9 on a standard.

Sage is an own daughter of the great Judge Cash out of a Murrtheblurr dam.  When we bought this mare in 2008 I tracked down her breeder, Malon Cowgill to see if I could get some history on the mare. The Cowgills have bred, raised and raced quarter horses and thoroughbreds for years. I spoke with Mrs. Cowgill and she told me this mare's mother was one of the most beautiful and smooth moving horse they ever owned, or bred, and she had speed to burn. (Sage's dam-sire, Murrtheblurr TB had 40 Starts, 9 Wins, 6 Places, 4 Shows Career Earnings: $255,110.) Mrs.  Cowgill was very happy that this mare had found a home where she would be used to produce great athletes. Sage has proven to be a great broodmare for us. Producing two very nice fillies (Sheza Famous Judge and Can Chasin Alibi). She is in foal to Frenchman’s Falcon for a May 2013 foal and will be bred to our Dash Ta Fame stallion, Goose for 2014.

Bugsy's grandsires, Zan Par Bar and Two Id Bartender were world champions. Zan Par Bar, an AQHA Hall of Fame Stallion, was Carol Rose's foundation stallion.  People in the business say "he built an empire." Zan Par Bar earned over 600 AQHA points, was a three-time world champion halter stallion and in 1979 won the world at halter while finishing 6th in heading and 7th in heeling. (Read the AQHA Hall of Fame Biography).  On Bugsy’s dam side is the great, Two Id Bartende, a beautiful red roan stallion.  He was an AQHA world champion in heading and in heeling. He earned 183 AQHA points: 19 in halter and 164 Perf Points. Bugsy's grand dam on her sire's side, Dean's Sweet Speed (Sugar Bars x Speedy Penny) had a speed index of 111. Bugsy is a big, powerful mare with good speed and a ton of heart and is suitable for any level of rider. She has produced one very nice colt by Azyoucansee (Azure Turnin Three) by ET. The colt is big, balanced, good looking, fast, athletic and good minded, just as expected.   Bugsy is currently in Montana spending her time teaching young Chance Grimes how to be a good cowboy. We anticipate more great things from this mare and if you want one of her foals, give us a call.

Vegas is super sweet with a good mind and great disposition. She's extremely laid back, but when you get her under saddle, she's all business. Her sire, Pretty Classy Zip was a speed / performance bred stallion who threw good bone and a good mind. Kathy has been running Vegas for about a year. She's coming along nicely in the barrel pen, becoming more competitive with each run. She is also Bill's go-to horse and she probably saw more country before she was five than most horses see in a lifetime. Vegas is a rock solid mare with a good mind, incredible agility, and a big throttle. She has given us one foal by ET, a 2012 colt by Rare Bar ("Rabbit"). Our intent is to continue to cross her with good minded, athletic, speed bred stallions to produce top quality barrel and timed event prospects. Watch a barrel racing video.

Betty is a 2006 bay mare by Hey Houston out of Starlite Royal Sugar. We bought this mare because of her athleticism, confirmation and great pedigree and felt she would cross well with speed stallions to produce great barrel horses. Betty's sire, Hey Houston by Smart Chic Olena was raised by Cowan Select Performance Horses and was trained and shown by Al Dunning. Houston amassed 235 AQHA points in his show career, with points and money earned in reining, working cow horse, calf roping, heading, heeling, pole bending and halter.  On the dam side is the Four Sixes Ranch's standout stallion, Paddys Irish Whiskey. Betty is a very athletic, correct, good minded mare.   She is currently being shown in reining by Scott Seeklander.  Betty has her ROM in reining and qualified for the AQHA World Show in 2012 but was unable to compete because of an injury.  In 2012 she won or placed in every show she entered, and won the year-end in the open class in the Reining Horse Association of the Northwest Reining. The video here is of her winning her division at the RHANW Summer Slide (watch video). Here's another video of a great pattern from last summer: (watch video).  Betty will be bred this spring (2013) to Very Smart Remedy via ET and if the season allows we will be breeding her to one of our own stallions as well.  We can’t say enough about this mare, she is just an outstanding athlete and we have high hopes for her as a producer.
