News in the making

Kathy was able to get Amy (Dale) Coelho's great NFR mare Quick Judge (Skid) in foal via embryo transfer to Jeff and Amy's stallion Mini Flits Last Yank (full brother to Flit To Kill). We also have a 2012 ET foal coming by Mini Flits Last Yank out of Do It For Beau.

Blurr The Cash (Sage) is in foal to Streaking Ta Fame for a 2012 baby. We are really excited about this cross.

Kathy and Winning Gold Chex (Josie) made their third consecutive appearance at the 2011 Columbia River Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals, November 11 and 12 in Redmond, Oregon. They placed in the 2nd and 3rd rounds and the average with winnings of $1443 and moved from 9th position to sixth.

Nine-Oh mare Hey Chinook (Betty) has been on a run of late, placing or winning five of her last six reining events. We are excited to cross Betty with speed-bred stallions in the future. We believe that the reining/cow horse cross with speed gives a potential barrel horse the best chance at success in the arena. Kathy's great rodeo horse, Winning Gold Chex was sired by a reserve world champion senior reining horse, Extra Dry Chex, and out of Kathy's great speed mare, Jodalito Cielo.

Another Nine-Oh mare TS Missrarebullion (Blondie) has been in training with Ryan Lovendahl with hopes of making a run at the 2012 futurities.

Congratulations to Kayla Tisdall on her purchase of KG Jet O A Go GO (Lucy). Kayla, a Colorado State University rodeo team member, reports that Lucy is the smartest horse she has ever owned and is excited about getting her ready for her futurity year.
